I can't believe it is almost the end of September!! Where did the time go????

We are thinking of Halloween costumes already. A friend of mine gave me the cutest Strawberry Shortcake costume for Mia to wear. Mia likes it, but wants to play dress up with it and then be a Warewolf for Halloween. She always wants to be something mean and scary. She has never wanted to be a girly character. She is such a tom-boy.

Sam says he is just gonna go in his pjs and we dont have to get a costume. I think he may be getting too old for trick-or-treating.

Anthony wants to dress Zach as a Jawa from Star Wars. I am not liking that idea so much. I want something cute and fluffy.

When we dress up I will take a ton of pics andshare some here.

September is among us

August flew by in a flash.....

the beggining of school, my grandma visiting, preparing and having Zach's birthday party. It was all a blast!!!

So the kids are loving school. Well, as much as one can love school. I recieved an email asking me to be Mia's classroom party coodinator. I accepted and am looking forward to it!
My Grandma Donna and cousin Amy arrived August 23rd. They were such a joy to have. I miss them already and they only went home a couple days ago. It was nice for Zach to get to play with "Grandma Great", as she calls herself. Mia was looking forward to thier visit also. Amy is so great to play baby dolls with Mia. Grandma Great plays baby bear with Mia. She loves to pretend she is an animal and my grandma loves to nuture imagination so she plays along too. Sam even enjoyed the visit. Grandma, Sam and Amy had a dart gun war in the living room/ dining room area. Dont worry.... they were NERF dart guns. They all had so much fun. We were all laughing histerically.
Zach's party went great!! We had it at my in-laws' house. Most of Zach's aunts and uncles came to the party and a couple friends, my grandma and Amy, and Zach's great aunt were all there. HE was a little scared of the singing "Happy Birthday" to him. He didn't know what to do with himself. He ate almost half of his littel personal cake. It took him a while to get into it, but when he did it was a mess. He only opened one present and then wanted nothing to do with the others. It was a ride on fire truck. He was in love!!

So now that August is over we dive into September with hopes of great things!!
